You will work alongside a collaborative group of colleagues who value team camaraderie and are fully prepared to provide mentorship and training for advanced bedside procedures to ensure your success within the practice. Join an established team of 5 physicians and 6 APPs Practice setting: Closed ICU Employed position within a nonprofit health system Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine Fellowship training in Critical Care or Pulmonary/Critical Care Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration Deliver comprehensive critical care through daily bedside rounds and total-system evaluations, ensuring every clinical, psycho-social, and ethical need of the patient is addressed Perform life-saving interventions and advanced bedside procedures, including complex catheter placements and airway management, to stabilize and support patients in their most vulnerable moments About the Facility 251-bed teaching hospital with closed ICU Trauma designation: Level III Serving a population of approximately 738,000 Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
