Operations Service Administrator

Sofidel America of North Las Vegas, NV is currently seeking an Operations Service Administrator to join our operations team. Established in 2012, Sofidel America is headquartered in Horsham, Pa. and operates manufacturing plants in six additional states (Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Mississippi). The Sofidel Group has subsidiaries in 12 countries – Italy, Spain, the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Romania, and the U.S. – with more than 6,500 employees. Job Responsibilities Prepare purchase requisitions, track inventories, and handle inquiries related to orders, including pulp, chemicals, and operational supplies. Oversee receiving, issuing, and consumption tracking for pulp, broke, and chemical inventories to ensure accurate usage, availability, and reconciliation. Guarantee efficient development and execution of administrative processes related to purchasing, procurement, inventory control, and material flow for operations. Assist in managing and maintaining planned stock levels, including pulp, broke, and chemicals, to support production continuity and cost control. Monitor inventory accuracy through regular reviews, cycle counts, and coordination with operations to address discrepancies. Ensure compliance with Group guidelines, procedures, and safety standards related to purchasing, inventory management, and material handling. Provide support to the Purchase Department in managing supplier relationships, including coordination on delivery schedules, quality issues, and inventory needs. Ensure accurate lead times and alignment with purchaser specifications for materials and chemicals used in operations. Collaborate with the Accounting Office to resolve purchasing and invoicing issues, including discrepancies related to received and consumed materials. Promote a corporate culture based on safety, particularly in the handling, storage, and use of pulp, broke, and chemicals. Communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain working knowledge of new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines impacting purchasing and inventory management. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or six (6) to twelve (12) months experience manufacturing inventory and purchasing and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work in a cross functionally across departments and in a team environment. Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed with strong time-management skills.
