Finance Associate, FP&A

The Finance Associate supports financial analysis and the execution of strategic initiatives, capital structuring, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and commodity hedging activities. This role reports to the Vice President of Finance and collaborates across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations to provide insights for key operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 1-3 years in oil & gas investment banking, private equity, or a comparable operating-company role Excellent financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills Strong proficiency in Excel and financial-analysis tools Responsibilities Build financial models detailing the impact of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and development scenarios Perform analysis and support due diligence for capital markets and strategic initiatives Maintain up-to-date budget and forecast models, updating assumptions based on performance trends Prepare monthly operational and financial performance reporting for executive leadership, with variance analysis Evaluate commodity hedging structures and support hedging-program execution These postings may be incomplete or may not include all information about the role, including compensation.
