EG&R Engineering is seeking a Physical Layout Designer with Substation / Power experience to serve as an integral part of a talented team. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include working with a team of Electrical Engineers and Design drafters to generate Electrical layout drawings for High Voltage Substations and / or Power Plants. Responsibilities will include preparing the following drawings for substation or power plant facilities: General Arrangement Electrical Equipment Plans Conduit/Cable Schedules Electrical Details – Section views and elevations Bill of Material Conduit / Raceway Plans / Cable Tray/ Underground Ductbank Lighting, Grounding, Power, Heat Tracing, etc Perform facility / substation walkdowns Following client’s standards Qualifications and Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide Visa Sponsorship. Previous work experience as Physical Designer in the Power Industry (substations / power plants) Experience in 3D Modeling Plant 3D and/or Revit Experience using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
