Location: Bradenton, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM. Expectation to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: The Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic services to patients in the acute care setting as well as the inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF). The role involves collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy programs, using adaptive devices and equipment.
• Participate in team conferences and engage in family training.
• Maintain accurate records using EMR - Meditech.
• Adapt interventions based on patient needs and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Occupational Therapy license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Weekend flexibility and willingness to work on the IRF unit.
• Hospital/IRF experience and stroke/neuro experience are highly preferred.
