Crisis Worker

We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on-call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams and Juneau Counties. Key duties include responding to crisis calls, conducting risk assessments, offering brief crisis counseling, and following up with clients in various settings such as homes and hospitals. The role involves gathering information, connecting clients to community resources, maintaining partnerships with law enforcement and community agencies, and documenting interactions per regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field At least one year of experience working with mental health clients preferred Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, 55) Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within 1 hour Skills & Requirements Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain professional under pressure Occasional daytime travel for meetings and training Commitment to the organization’s mission and values This position offers flexible shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
