Cardiac CRNA locum position in West Columbia, South Carolina (SC)

Job Description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider to work locum shifts in West Columbia, South Carolina (SC) starting 08/03/2026. The role offers 3–6 months and a competitive market rate.

The Caridac CRNA role:

\n

\n

Location : West Columbia, South Carolina (SC)

\n

Start date: 08/03/2026- Ongoing

\n

Schedule : 4x10s (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday)

\n

• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM day shifts

\n

• Must work full-time every week (no part-time)

\n

• 1 evening call shift per week

\n

• 1 weekend call every 6 weeks

\n

• Block scheduling available

\n

\n

• Acute care hospital, Trauma Level III–IV

\n

• Dedicated cardiac anesthesia team

\n

• CVOR setting with 2–5 cases per day

\n

• 100% cardiac/CT surgery cases (no transplants)

\n

\n

Required Skills and Procedures

\n

\n
• Must be comfortable with open heart/cardiac cases
\n
• Experience with CABGs, valves, aortic roots, and other listed cardiac procedures
\n

\n

EMR: Epic

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

South Carolina license, active and unrestricted (compact accepted)

\n

NBCRNA required

\n

Minimum 1 year cardiac experience;

\n

ACLS, BLS, PALS required; must be comfortable with open heart cases

\n

\n
