Vice President, POM Product Owner

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Product Owner to join our Wealth Services Platform team. In this role, as part of BNY Pershing’s Wealth Services Administration Group, you will help deliver a seamless, self-service experience that allows firm administrators to tailor the platform to their needs in real-time, without waiting on implementation teams or customer support. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Simplify complex technical functionality into a seamless user experience Drive vision for platform and user interface product to support both internal and external clients Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across party and account/investor reference data domains Drive cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑impact solutions aligned with business objectives and client needs Prioritize and manage the product backlog, gathering requirements from stakeholders and partnering closely with development teams to ensure high‑quality delivery. Develop clear and concise product briefs that articulate feature goals, requirements, and value. Make informed trade‑off decisions to advance current work, escalating risks or issues to leadership when appropriate. Establish and track key product metrics, defining measurement and instrumentation to evaluate post‑launch performance. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Proactive, “get it done” approach with the ability to overcome obstacles and maintain focus on goals. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
