Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for an outpatient facility in Alamogordo, NM. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Practice will include care of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients and may involve emergency response, airway management, ventilator management, and diagnostic respiratory procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the NBRC required.
• RT or RCP state license in good standing in New Mexico required.
• BLS (AHA) required.
• Experience in pulmonary and respiratory care. 1–3 years of clinical RRT experience preferred.
• Experience with ventilator management, airway support devices (BiPAP/CPAP), blood gas collection and analysis, and delivery of aerosolized medications preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience functioning as a shift or team leader preferred.
• Skills in advanced therapies such as therapeutic gas management (INO, HeO2), pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy assist, and nocturnal SpO2 evaluation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900 - 0700.
• Work type: Full Time.
