About the Position

Job Title: Nursing General Profession: Nursing Specialty: General Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in a urology clinic preferred, but general clinic experience accepted Description: General information includes 5 treatment rooms and 1 procedure room. The facility will accept travelers with 1 year of experience. The position will primarily focus on adult patients with occasional pediatric cases. Common cases include UTIs, kidney stones, overactive bladder, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, catheter exchanges, and stent removals. Blood draws are not performed at this facility. The clinic sees approximately 45 to 70 patients daily. Skills required include rooming patients, administering injections, and setting up the procedure room. Preferred experience includes bladder scanning, insertion and removal of Foley catheters, conducting voiding trials, and assisting with in-office procedures. The team consists of other RNs and CMAs, along with providers and support staff. Experience with EMR systems is preferred. Scrub color should be a solid professional color without graphics or logos.
