Scientist, Integrated Computational and Experimental Inflammation Discovery

This role involves planning and executing inflammation discovery research by designing experimental studies, applying computational and AI-driven approaches to disease biology, and integrating findings across multiple data sources. The scientist will manage defined project components with minimal supervision, collaborating across functions to support target identification and therapeutic hypothesis refinement. A doctorate or master's degree with two years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project tasks supporting inflammation target identification and validation
• Design and execute bench studies to investigate disease mechanisms and test therapeutic hypotheses
• Apply computational and AI-enabled approaches to generate mechanistic insights
• Integrate experimental results with literature, genetics, clinical data, and internal datasets
• Organize, document, and present project data and recommendations to scientific forums

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2+ years experience in immunology/cell/molecular biology
• Advanced understanding of inflammation and immunology research principles and concepts
• Experience designing, executing, and interpreting experimental studies for target discovery
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, computational biology, or advanced data analytics
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage defined project components
• Strong communication skills for presenting scientific information to teams
• Experience collaborating across functions and departments on project goals
