About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Maryland

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage (6 weekend shifts per contract period); 4:1 patient ratio; average daily volume of 220 patients

• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
• 20 hours of facility orientation provided
• One-year travel assignment with opportunity for extension after 90-day separation period

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications acceptable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (no exemptions available)
• 2-Step PPD required
• Proficiency in critical care skills including central line management, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, ventilator care, BiPAP/CPAP management, and IV vasopressor administration
• Experience with trauma care, CVA patients, STEMI protocols, and stroke care protocols preferred
