The Diagnostic Radiology Team 11 welcomes qualified Radiologic Technologists to contribute to high‑quality imaging services. Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. Position Highlights New graduates and experienced technologists are welcome to apply. $10,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time positions (not applicable to current or former VUMC staff within the past twelve months). Relocation stipend available for full‑time positions. Industry competitive rates. Full‑time weekend schedule: 3x13 shifts (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), 7:30AM – 9:30PM. Work on the main campus with an adult patient population. Key Responsibilities Review radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective imaging. Apply a broad range of skills to complete exams in a timely manner while meeting quality and compliance standards. Provide appropriate screening processes to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards. Technical Capabilities Diagnostic Equipment (Fundamental Awareness): Training, direct exposure, or past experience with diagnostic tools; ability to resolve simple equipment problems. Compliance (Fundamental Awareness): Basic knowledge of core rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines relevant to assignments; knows where to seek support. Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Limited experience or training in patient documentation. Core Accountabilities Deliver job responsibilities that impact own job area/team with some guidance. Use existing procedures, research, and analysis to tackle standard job‑related problems with some judgment. Apply subject‑matter knowledge within a professional area to meet job requirements. Contribute individually to project/work teams and build/maintain relationships across areas. Communicate effectively, serve others with compassion, and solve routine problems in a timely manner. Ensure high quality with continuous improvement, safety and regulatory compliance, and accountability. Position Qualifications Certifications: Licensed or Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure‑Others: Valid state or national licensure as required. Relevant Work Experience: Less than 1 year . Education: Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (Required).
