Elizabethtown, NC
Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
$75,000 – $80,000 per year

Adecco is hiring a Buyer/Planner for a manufacturing client in Elizabethtown, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing and planning experience who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase orders to support production

  • Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages

  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and resolve delays

  • Align materials with production schedules and demand

  • Maintain inventory systems (Kanban or similar)

  • Analyze data to improve planning and decision-making

  • Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and logistics teams

  • Support inventory counts and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, planning, or manufacturing planning

  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.)

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments

  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Lean manufacturing experience

  • APICS/CPIM certification

  • High-mix manufacturing experience

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
