Supervisory Management And Program Analyst

As a Supervisory Management And Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

  1. Serve as Director for the Executive Branch of the Chief of Staff Office, exercising principal program responsibility for a full range of administrative and management services. Manage program effectiveness and efficiency, establish goals and assess operational progress. Manage complex administrative functions and work directly with leadership across headquarters. Serve as a member of various committees/groups, and exercise significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other units or organizations, or in advising management officials.
  2. Manage and supervise budget planning, formulation, and execution. Provide large scale acquisition planning and contract administration for the office. Approve the allocation and distribution of funds in the organization's budget.
  3. Serve as supervisor of subordinate staff to include planning and distributing work, setting priorities, and developing schedules for the completion of work. Evaluate the performance of subordinates and provide technical oversight and instruction. Identify developmental need and provide or arrange for training.

This position will be filled under the Department of Commerce Alternative Personnel System (CAPS). Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band. The ZA-5 is equivalent to the GS-15.
