About Beside’s mission Beside is building an AI agent that helps small businesses grow, giving owners more time for their craft, their customers, and their lives. Every missed call or forgotten follow-up can mean lost revenue. Beside takes that work off their plate. We’re building a 24/5 agent that understands the business and takes action across the customer journey: helping it get found, turning inquiries into customers, and bringing those customers back. It connects the tools owners already use and moves work forward, with owners choosing what to delegate and what to approve. Our foundation is Beside Phone. The phone is where our customers earn trust, understand what someone needs, and win business. Beside captures that context and connects it with email, calendars, websites, and the other tools the business runs on. That understanding lets the agent act on what matters. The Role We're hiring a Social Media Manager to own Beside’s organic presence across our brand channels and selected founder accounts. You're a hands-on, autonomous operator who knows what makes content work on social - and turns raw material into a coherent, high-quality presence. Own our social presence Own the social calendar, publishing, and day-to-day operation of our brand channels and selected founder accounts Decide what’s worth publishing, where it belongs, and when it should go live Keep a consistent cadence while leaving room for timely ideas and live opportunities Turn raw material into content that lands Find the strongest material across UGC, customer and team footage, product demos, and selected paid creative Reframe, edit, package, and write each piece for the platform instead of reposting assets as-is Create lightweight original content independently when the calendar or an opportunity calls for it Give every account a clear voice Maintain a consistent Beside voice while adapting hooks, copy, formats, and cadence to each platform Help selected founders turn their thinking and product moments into posts that feel like them Build recognizable formats that make our product, customers, and team worth following Build a repeatable social engine Build a reliable workflow from raw input to finished post so strong content gets published quickly and consistently Track performance and audience signals to understand what resonates Turn those learnings into better creative decisions and a stronger content mix Bonus signals You run your own YouTube channel and know what it takes to build content that lands You've distributed to SMBs in the US and know how that audience thinks How we think & work At Beside, we don’t just build products - we redefine how humans interact with each other.
