Senior Software Engineer

Sr. Software EngineerThe Sr. Software Engineer is primarily responsible for the design and development of software applications and reusable software components deployed in the Client product suite. You are expected to foster high performing technical teams. You will be required to collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders.Support and enhance high quality software modules for the Client product suiteAnalyze and resolve software related issues originated from internal or external customersDocuments the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll out.Demonstrates proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and a developing knowledge of related disciplines.Executes solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability.Communicates technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner.Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems.Explores new ideas and makes innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results.Continuously improves and enhances knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Client product suiteExecute all appropriate facets of the Client Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvementMentor other developersComplete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual Performance Plan. Required Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.BS degree in Computer Science or technically related disciplineMinimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experienceMinimum 5 years of experience developing in Hadoop echo system ( Spark, PySpark, MapReduce, Hive, Impala )Minimum 5 years of experience with common application frameworks (JEE – Spring Boot, Struts, Hibernate )Minimum 5 years of experience with RDBS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgresSQL and MySQL programming, MS SQL server preferredDemonstrated proficiency with at least one widely used programming language such as Java, Python, C/C++, C#, and scripting languages such as JavaScript.Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.Strong proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.Experience with Elasticsearch, including data modeling, indexing, and querying.Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development methodologies.Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms supporting advanced AI models.Proven experience in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions in a production environment.Ability to integrate AI/ML models into existing software systems and workflowsProficiency in prompt engineering and optimizing LLM outputs for business-specific use cases.Knowledge of cloud development and microservicesUnderstanding of prevalent Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies with specific exposure or participation in Agile Scrum techniques preferredAbility to execute project deliverables in a dynamic, fast paced environment within estimated timelinesGood written and oral communication skills
