Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. There are two shifts available:

1st shift (7am - 3pm, Monday through Friday)

2nd shift (3pm - 11pm, Monday through Friday), with initial training on the until you are ready to transition. Your main focus will be to minimize equipment downtime during production hours by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting on production line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in emergency situations.
• Conduct minor facility maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and repairing door handles.
• Work extensively on production line equipment including conveyors, tanks, filling machines, packing machines, and stacking machines.
• Engage in mechanic tasks, including working on pumps, motors, and valves.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting with PLCs, with a focus on mechanical work.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a maintenance technician.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and 3-phase systems.
• Understanding of conveyor systems, motors, and industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with PLC control and electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding and installation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and perform field service.
• Experience with fabrication, installation, and service.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, state-of-the-art facility with up to 100 people on the production floor during the 1st shift. The 2nd shift is smaller and requires candidates to work with less supervision, indicating a need for a higher level of independence and expertise.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Health Vision Dental PTO 401K Profit Sharing.
