You will join a team of dynamic activation managers across the country while being responsible for achieving the organization’s strategic and commercial goals with a selection of our key chain accounts and customers. You will have the tools and support to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop customer strategies and business plans, create and sell-in compelling promotional programming, and ensure high-quality organization and execution within a designated market.

ABOUT YOU

You have experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry with a focus in the Chains within the Southern CA market. You are familiar with chain account personnel and come with existing relationships in various banners including Ralph’s/F4L, AVP, Stater’s, Smart & Final and club channels.

You are comfortable networking, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills and have a confident presence and pride in yourself and professional appearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

• Manage and strengthen key relationships within SoCal Chain accounts in your territory through a consultative and influential approach.
• Track all activities and consistently submit activity reports in a proprietary reporting tool to supervisor including KPI progress, account visits, trainings, accomplishments, competitive activities, special projects.
• Participate in overall market commercial planning which may include weekly and monthly team meetings.
• Efficiently manage T&E Budget as well as the monthly activation budget.  
• Responsible for executing activities to drive sales, ongoing promotional activations and training bar staff on our portfolio of products.
• Lead meetings with key chain accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships.  Present Bacardi brands and work toward achieving increased volumes while building long term business opportunities.
• Responsible for sales objectives, including basic account management and program development & execution.
• Deliver year-over-year growth within account list while meeting monthly KPI’s within your account universe.
• Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and develop programs to capitalize on such trends.
• Provide market and competitive brand updates to supervisor to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.
• You will be based in Southern California.

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• You will ideally have 2 -3 years of experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry either at a distributor, or in chain relevant chain experience.
• You are a passionate and influential relationship manager that positions the consumer at the heart of all activities first in order to achieve results.
• You are an influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, employees, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization .
• By living a Founder’s mentality, you are well organized, an independent thinker, like to multitask and are confident in your ability to conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner consistent with our company values.
• Your ability to analyze available information for the purposes of preparing reports, coordinating efforts and solving problems will also be required to be successful in this position.
• Your ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize goals and opportunities.
• You are computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.

The base salary range listed for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 and the salary within the range will be determined by the successful candidate's location, experience, skillset and other relevant factors.
