JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing all financial activities related to the General Ledger Accounting Department, in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls for three separate companies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Reconciles all balance sheet accounts in a timely, effective manner.

·         Experience in General Ledger accounting, with concentration on balance

sheet account reconciliation, fixed assets, financial analysis and

spreadsheet creation, required.  Must be computer-literate.

·         Must be able to hit deadlines.

·         Enters information into the General Ledger Accounts Journal for three

companies.

·         Balances fixed assets accounts for three companies.

·         Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of

departmental records and reports.

·         Extremely organized.

·         Highly Detail Oriented. 

·         All other duties as assigned.

·         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents,

such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. 

·         Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,

regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

·         Must be proficient in excel, business works, and a fixed asset program. 

·         Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out a variety of

instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related area from a four year Minimum five years casino experience in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and decimals. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

Must have Colorado State Gaming License
