Java Developer Austin, TX $85,000 - $95,000 a year As a Java Developer at Morelabra you will design and build cutting-edge software solutions and partner closely with our development team. This role is ideal for someone with Full-Stack or Back-End experience who thrives in an agile, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of our CRM, VMS, and Job-Board platforms using Java and related frameworks. Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and QA to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code. Conduct and participate in peer code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing services for performance, reliability, and security. Stay current on emerging Java technologies, industry trends, and software-development best practices—and evangelize them within the team. Qualifications Must be located in Round Rock, TX—or willing to relocate. Proven track record as a Java Developer, ideally with CRM, VMS, or Job-Board system implementations. Deep expertise in Java (Java 8+), Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Data, Security), and ecosystem tools. Hands-on experience with RESTful (and optionally SOAP) web services, relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA). Familiarity with recruiting-technology concepts: workflows, integrations (e.g. resume parsing, job-board feeds), and analytics. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for clean, well-tested code. Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable mentoring junior developers.
