Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required. License: Active nursing license required upon start. Certifications: ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (expires), BLS Must-Have: - Prior travel experience required. - Charge responsibility is required, and training will be provided. Description: The role involves working in an intermediate care unit with a patient population that includes a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) patients. The assigned shifts for this position are 12-hour nights, with assignments typically concluding on Saturday. The unit aims to follow a schedule that includes working two out of three weekends per month, although flexibility is required based on unit needs. Limited requests for time off will be considered. The client reserves the right to cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior, based on patient census. Charge experience is preferred. Familiarity with an electronic health record system is preferred. This position involves working with students and new hires, contributing to a supportive work culture is expected.
