LRIP Systems Engineering Lead (Senior Principal Systems Engineer)Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated LRIP Systems Engineering Lead (Senior Principal Systems Engineer) to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS Program. LRIP refers to Low Rate Initial Production.Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to work across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.This role can be located out of our Tewksbury MA, Andover MA, or Pelham NH locations.What You Will Do:Lead the execution of SE scope as per the SOW with the LRIP Systems Engineering teamMaintain plan to execute SOW within cost and schedule constraints while identifying required course corrections as the execution path evolvesCommunicate challenges and concerns effectively with Program Leadership, Office of the Chief Engineer and CustomersBroad knowledge of the technology and concepts of radars and associated productsBroad knowledge and understanding of the process and requirements of maintaining compliance with all export and import controlsAbility to promote collaboration and drive alignment across Raytheon business units, functions and programs as well with external partners and customers.Coordinate, write, and deliver technical presentations to both internal and external customersA deep enough understanding of general and Raytheon specific financial metrics (e.g. bookings, sales, operating profit, and cash) and processes, and program metrics (e.g. CPI/SPI, EAC) and processes, to provide meaningful insight into business decisions and strategies.The ability to effectively prioritize and de-conflict competing tasks based on an accurate assessment on what will provide the greatest value to the business.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.Experience effectively leading multidisciplinary teams of systems engineering professionalsAbility to travel up to 10% as neededQualifications We Prefer:Prior radar program leadership experienceExperience in developing effective relationships with customers and partnersExperience leading teams across multiple geographic locationsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsUS security clearanceWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
