Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Charleston, SC at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of recent CT experience.

Details

• CT department within the main hospital building of a 321-bed acute care facility
• Performs trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient CT exams
• Equipment includes GE 64 Rev EVO (x2) and GE 128 Rev EVO scanners
• Documentation system is Meditech
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule covers Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with Friday–Sunday and holiday rotation
• Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in CT
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• SCRQSA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must have active employment with no gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited Stroke Center and holds a Chest Pain Center accreditation from the American College of Cardiology
• The hospital operates a 24-hour emergency room and is a Level II Trauma Center
• Gray scrubs are required
