The City of Faribault is seeking applicants for the position of Lateral Police Officer. Founded in 1872, the Faribault Police Department has a proud history of service and innovation. The department offers many specialty assignments and uses the latest technology to serve the community. The department is seeking applicants for ONE position, which will bring the department to full staff.

The 2026 compensation Range is $40.99 to $56.23, with officers starting up to $50.68 per hour depending on prior experience - lateral officers are encouraged to apply. Additional compensation includes shift differential pay, foreign language pay, and special assignment compensation.
