$2,500 LVN Loyalty Bonus (Tues-Sat, 9am-530pm Schedule) New Horizon Senior Living is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in the Stanton, CA (near Buena Park area). We are currently seeking Full-Time LVN/Wellness Coordinator to join our management team and lead our Wellness Department. Submit your application today! Qualifications (non-negotiable):- Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
- Experience medication administration preferred
- Must have valid LVN License (Required)
- Prepares and maintains resident assessments and individualized service plans
- Communicates clearly with Administrator, residents and families of any changes in condition or concerns
- Manages, oversees, and assists personnel in In-service training and medications
- Assures completion of all resident activities of daily living according to ISPs
- Interviews, hires, trains, schedules and supervises all Healthcare staff and facilitates staff meetings and in-service training
- Manages all physician communications, medical updates, and pharmacy cycle changes and orders.
- Coordinates all dietary needs with Dining Coordinator and Dietician
- Manages and maintains all medication orders, inventory and supplies
- Renders emergency medical aid and wound care
- Additional duties as assigned by Administration
