Quality Inspector

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform final inspections, identify and document non-conforming parts, verify proper packaging, and support the disposition and re-inspection of finished goods. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, production, and rework personnel to ensure that products meet established quality standards before shipment. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality will help us deliver reliable products and maintain customer satisfaction. $17.00 an hour Responsibilities: Inspect finished parts to verify product quality and compliance with established requirements Confirm that finished products are packed correctly and organized properly for shipment Identify and report defective, non-conforming, or suspect parts Document inspection results and notices of nonconformance accurately Re-inspect reworked parts and communicate required corrections to production team members Perform dock audits and occasional production-line inspections as requested Support calibration activities for gauges and inspection equipment Assist with quality problem-solving and continuous improvement activities Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or concerns Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or quality inspection preferred, but not required Basic ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and rulers preferred Basic blueprint reading skills are a plus Willingness to learn inspection procedures, quality documentation, and manufacturing systems Basic math and reading skills with good attention to detail Practical problem-solving and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Basic computer or MRP system experience is a plus but not required Familiarity with manufacturing quality or safety standards is preferred but can be learned on the job Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling, handling materials safely, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing 25–50 lbs., with sufficient visual acuity and stamina to inspect products and work safely in a manufacturing environment Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Equal Employment Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
