Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mammography examinations of the breast using digital mammography equipment, including tomosynthesis as applicable.
- Properly position patients, ensure comfort and safety, and maintain high image quality for diagnostic use.
- Operate imaging equipment and adjust exposure factors following department protocols and quality standards.
- Document and process images; communicate findings and concerns with radiologists and care teams.
- Adhere to radiation safety principles and ALARA; maintain patient shielding, infection control, and equipment cleanliness.
- Assist in department procedures, participate in quality assurance activities, and support ongoing patient care in a fast-paced imaging setting.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license/permit as required by state regulations.
- Ability to perform mammography imaging and operate mammography equipment in a clinical setting.
- Eligibility for travel assignments and ability to commit to the 13-week contract duration.
- Strong patient care and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a busy imaging department.
- Willingness to work daytime hours in a travel assignment and to adapt to on-site requirements.
