Description •
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Repairs on machinery, plumbing and electrical systems as required.
• Assists in the coordination of the repair and scheduled maintenance of Biomedical Equipment.
• Provides on-site supervision during construction projects.
• Assists in the development of work plans for the repair and maintenance of the physical plant and assures completion of the projects.
• Assists in the development of the annual budget by preparing estimates of annual maintenance costs and recommending capital improvements/replacement costs.
• Monitors purchasing all maintenance materials and supplies and maintaining physical plant records and blueprints.
• Prepares cost quotes and/or estimates for maintenance work orders for approval by requesting party.
• Conducts training of staff including but not limited to the safe operation of vehicles, hazardous materials, asbestos management and other physical plant safety issues as required.
• Assists in the development of long range and strategic plans to assure that the physical plant meets the needs of the organization.
• Continually observes the physical plant and associates to identify safety concerns. Either reports conditions/incidents or develop and implement corrective action as required.
• Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities. • On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements. • Arrives on time and ready to work. • All other duties as required.
