Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Muskegon, MI | Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (15:00–03:30) | Every other weekend required | Every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Document patient information and care accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Adhere to all scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and every other holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Emergency Room clinical experience
• Ability to commit to the assigned shift schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays
• Please note: this position is unable to accommodate pre-approved time off or scheduling requests

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and/or TNCC certification
• Experience with high-volume or Level II/III trauma emergency environments
• Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
