This hands-on position is ideal for a security-focused systems professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, delivering automation solutions, supporting end users, and leading technology initiatives. Based in the Los Angeles, California area, this role combines operational support, systems engineering, security governance, and project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, Purview, and related cloud technologiesManage user identities, access controls, group policies, role-based permissions, multifactor authentication, and conditional access configurationsSupport governance and administration of AI-enabled workplace technologies while ensuring appropriate security and data protection controlsOversee endpoint management activities, including device enrollment, application deployment, compliance policies, security baselines, and lifecycle managementImplement, monitor, and enhance cybersecurity controls across cloud and endpoint environmentsMaintain data protection, retention, auditing, information governance, and compliance-related configurationsSupport patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening, and secure configuration standardsTroubleshoot and administer Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, networking components, and business-critical SaaS platformsDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effortCreate technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge base content, and end-user training materialsCompensation & Benefits$100,000-$120,000Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plan with employer matching contributionsProfessional development and certification support opportunitiesAdditional DetailsOnsite with remote flexibility on an ad-hoc need basisParticipation in after-hours maintenance, upgrades, and incident response activities may be requiredUp to 20% regional travel may be requiredOpportunity to contribute ideas, influence technology strategy, and help shape future platform decisions in collaborative environmentRequirementsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in systems administration, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud infrastructure, or related IT rolesHands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, Purview, and Conditional AccessStrong experience with identity and access management, authentication, authorization, multifactor authentication, and security best practicesProficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation for administration, reporting, and operational efficiencyExperience managing Windows endpoints and modern device management platformsSolid understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, patch management, vulnerability reduction, and secure configuration standardsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical usersAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain high attention to detailPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceMicrosoft and cybersecurity certifications such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, Intune, Security+, CISSP, or similar credentialsExperience with email security, backup and recovery platforms, endpoint management tools, or information protection solutionsFamiliarity with macOS administration, mobile device management, networking, firewalls, VPN technologies, and hybrid environmentsPrior experience supporting professional services, commercial real estate, or similarly fast-paced business environmentsExperience working within lean IT teams where responsibilities span cloud administration, security, support, and project deliveryJob typePerm
