Radiologic Technologist - Limerick Outpatient Center - Per Diem

Job Summary Rad Tech - Per diem position for our Limerick Outpatient Center. Work Schedule MInimum 48 hours in a 6 week schedule; no on call, holiday or weekend rotation The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures , producing images for the interpretation by, or at the Request of a licensed independent practitioner. Radiographers must demonstrates an understanding of the human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They must maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy. remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills Qualifications Education Requirements Post High School Diploma Program Experience Relevant Experience Certification and Licensure BLS Certification RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date Overview Tower Health, a regional healthcare system, serves communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania.
