Neonatologist Position
Stormont Vail Healthcare is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our dedicated 5-physician and NNP team providing comprehensive care in a Level-III, 36-bed NICU in Topeka, Kansas a vibrant, affordable city located near major university towns with excellent subspecialty support and advanced neonatal services.
Job Description:
- Provide a full range of neonatal intensive care services in a Level-III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily census of 26 patients
- Manage advanced neonatal therapies including High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
- Collaborate with subspecialty support teams including Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
- Participate in patient care coverage including potential call and weekend duties as per department policy
