Heavy Equipment Operator - Wind - Singing Grass Wind Project Join to apply for the Heavy Equipment Operator - Wind - Singing Grass Wind Project role at Mortenson Project Name: Signing Grass Wind Project Project Location: Seibert, CO 80834 Overview PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION: Operates equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures. The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $45 per hour. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual\'s knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Responsibilities Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, Bobcat/Skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, roller. Follows prescribed safety regulations. Ensures that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in the assigned area. Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning. Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction. Follows work plans and pre-task cards. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Strong teamwork orientation. Positive attitude and professional customer service skills. Detail orientation. Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operate equipment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts. Knowledge of equipment and their uses. Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication). Ability to work independently. Education and Experience Requirements Equipment certifications as required. A minimum of one year of related experience. Must possess valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law.
