Estimated pay package based on bill rate at time job was posted. Bill rates can
change frequently and without notice. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,
distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds : 766 licensed beds
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Interventional Vascular suite
Type of equipment :
Documentation system: paper /Epic
Scheduling requirements:
Floating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holes. Traditionally VIR staff do not float to other areas
Patient Experience requirements: We treat our patients like family. Each patient is met in the pre-op area and greeted.

Certifications: Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Children’s Hospital within a hospital

Advanced skills needed: ACLS, ICU experience, manage patients on ventilators, A lines, conscious sedation experience, capnography, Ramsey score, ventriculostomoes

Procedures performed on unit: We do complex Neuro cases, vascular, trauma, imaged guided biopsies, catheter placement, vascular access, and more

Certifications Required: NYS License required for RN, ACLS, PALS preferred
