Senior Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

Position Location This role supports our San Diego, CA branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater San Diego, CA area. Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and other water‑based equipment Document deficiencies or impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow the required reporting process while on site Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment; follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care Basic Qualifications 1–3+ years of experience in the installation and/or repair of water‑based equipment Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, high‑lift equipment, ducts, above ceilings, and in outdoor/in‑door, heat, cold, day, and night conditions; use hand tools, laptops, email, smartphones, and tablets; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with installation and repair of water‑based equipment NICET I – Water Based Systems certification within 6–12 months of hire High school diploma, state‑recognized GED, associate, or bachelor's degree preferred Benefits Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
