Production Manager
This role requires strong leadership skills along with hands-on experience with mechanical punch presses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable on the shop floor, troubleshooting equipment, developing employees, and improving safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements of the Production Manager
Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and operating mechanical punch presses.
Strong knowledge of Wintress or Link Press Controls.
Experience setting up, programming, and troubleshooting die protection systems.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Previous production supervision or management experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Production Manager
Lead and develop a 21-person team across production, quality, shipping, and receiving.
Schedule and monitor production to meet quality and delivery goals.
Hire, train, and develop production employees.
Troubleshoot mechanical punch presses, dies, and manufacturing processes.
Oversee preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
Lead corrective actions and root-cause problem solving.
Monitor WIP inventory and production performance.
Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor.
Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives.
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $85,000 - $100,000 annually plus bonus
