Located at River Oaks KIA , the Semi-Skilled Automotive Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Job Responsibilities Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. Communicate with parts department and service advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication. Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair. Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as appropriate. Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. Maintain an organized work area. Other duties as assigned by management. Job Requirements Automotive service technician experience. ASE certification desirable. Excellent customer service. Strong communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations. 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.
