Join our vibrant apartment community as a Maintenance Technician, where your skills and enthusiasm will keep our residents happy and our property in top condition! This energetic role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for all residents. You’ll be instrumental in troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and maintaining the overall functionality of our facilities. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help foster a welcoming community that residents are proud to call home.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Conduct repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, electrical experience, mechanical knowledge, and tools such as ohmmeters.
Complete residential painting projects and minor carpentry or drywall repairs to uphold property aesthetics.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including landscaping, cleaning common areas, and ensuring safety compliance.
Assist with vendor or contractor work when necessary, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills.
Requirements
Proven experience in facilities maintenance within residential or manufacturing environments.
Ability to operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
Must have experience in apartment maintenance, including light electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior apartment repairs.
Must be available for on-call; live within 45 minutes of the community.
Must have a valid CA Driver License and auto insurance
Must pass a criminal and DMV background check.
