Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Skilled Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (0630-1900) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current state license required Certifications: CPR certification required Must-Have: Education verification required Description: We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units. The candidate must have an education verification, current state license, and CPR certification. Traveling staff may be asked to float to other inpatient units due to patient census. This position requires working every third weekend and participating in a holiday rotation. Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act. Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise to guide other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Employs critical thinking in regard to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates concerns to the appropriate chain of command. Holiday coverage is required for this position.
