Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate safe transitions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a telemetry or medical surgical telemetry clinical setting
• Ability to interpret telemetry and cardiac monitor readings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
