Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Tyler, TX. The role involves working within a 650-bed hospital environment, both inpatient and outpatient, where you will perform specialized tasks in vascular and neuroradiology procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient flow of patients through the Interventional labs.

Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist

• Operate fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during procedures
• Assist in circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures
• Provide patient teaching and care within the scope of practice
• Manage inventory and coordinate schedules
• Demonstrate professional behavior, dress, and reliability consistent with organizational values
• Promote staff growth and physician satisfaction
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adapt care methods to each patient's needs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
• Perform examinations/procedures as required
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report to appropriate personnel

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent
• 1 year of training/experience in special procedures/IR required
• Basic computer experience required
• Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT required
• Current state Licensure required - Texas: MRT by TMB
• BLS required (AHA only), ACLS preferred
