Attention to detail and follow-through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliSuccessful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (certification must be provided upon hire)/liliOr at least one year of Medical Assistant experience (verified upon hire)/liliOr current RN/LPN license to practice nursing in the state/liliCurrent Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date/liliDemonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry./liliProfessional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills./liliAbility to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction./liliAbility to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers./liulliUtah Only: If certified with less than one year of MA experience, caregivers may attend a yearlong MA residency program/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliExperience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting./liliComputer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software./liliCurrent national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications or registrations: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) of AMT, National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) of the AAMA/li/ulpLocation: Nevada Central Office/ppWork City: Las Vegas/ppWork State: Nevada/ppScheduled Weekly Hours: 40/ppThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
