Experience a rewarding contract opportunity working with middle school students in a dedicated educational setting near Newport News, VA. This role supports approximately 55 students across 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, utilizing a range of speech-language pathology skills in a collaborative school environment. The assignment begins on August 17, 2026, and concludes on June 10, 2027, offering a chance to make a significant impact throughout the academic year.

Essential Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible for Speech-Language Pathology licensure and credentials (CCC or CFY accepted).
• Familiarity or experience with school-based SLP services.
• Comfortable working in both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
• Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating middle school speech-language disorders.
• Previous experience with middle school students is strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language pathology services to a caseload of approximately 55 middle school students.
• Develop and implement customized therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Administer assessments and maintain accurate records for student progress and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational and communication goals.
• Deliver services onsite for 37.5 hours per week, five days per week, following the school district’s schedule (no paid lunch included).
• Utilize both direct and teletherapy as required to meet student needs.
