Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Registered (RT PEDS) located in the regions healthcare facility. This position involves delivering advanced respiratory care and technical procedures for pediatric, neonatal, and other patient populations. The role requires independent operation, clinical expertise, and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC); at least one of the following certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPFT; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information and technical procedures; Ability to document clinical information; Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and staff; Two (2) years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Additional Information: Must have at least 2 years of hospital experience working with pediatric, neonatal, or ICU patients; experience with EPIC electronic health records; skills include airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, pulmonary function testing, tracheostomy care, endotracheal intubation, extubation, and patient transport; may be required to perform advanced procedures such as UAC, UVC, IV insertion, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, ABG analysis, and blood glucose monitoring in accordance with protocols; may manage ECMO and Extracorporeal circulation for cardiac and respiratory support; may be on-call days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
