Whether a child needs preventative or restorative dental care, we go the extra mile to ensure our patients have a friendly, upbeat experience and leave with healthy teeth and a big smile.Who We Are Looking For:Travel to other offices is required for this position.Someone who graduated from an accredited dental assisting program.A great communicator who wants to make a difference in our patients’ care.Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player.Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients.Previous Pediatric experience is a plus!Energetic, patient, and passionate about working with children.Responsibilities:Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures.Take, expose, and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).Provide hygiene and diet education.Schedule follow-up exams.Review schedules to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately.Set up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.Conduct parent consults and discuss treatment plans.Clean and sterilize instruments.Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization areas.Maintain infection control and OSHA guidelines.Participate in marketing endeavors.Write letters to be sent to referrals.We offer a fun and fast-paced work environment with flexible work hours, competitive salaries and excellent benefits packages!Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport-Bossier participates in E-Verify.
