Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires being responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, being flexible and subject to last minute shift cancellation. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.Departments Utilizing GIG RNs:Behavioral Health (BH)Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Medical-Surgical (MS)Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B)Qualifications:Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programPreferred Education: BSNLicensure: Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current compact RN licenseExperience: One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (L&D, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience.Certifications: For Med Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) - BLS. For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS.
