Job Summary: The OB-ED Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within Erlanger's Obstetric Emergency Department. This position is designed for experienced providers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about maternal and fetal health. This role offers a balanced work-life rhythm with hours from 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am. Shifts typically include both day and night coverage, with specific schedule to be discussed during the interview. The Advance Practice Provider will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients presenting to the OB-ED. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate appropriate treatment plans. Support labor and delivery triage and manage obstetric emergencies as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards. This position is involved in a team-based approach to care.

Education: Required: - Masters of Science degree in Nursing (MSN). Preferred: - Experience in obstetrics, women's health or emergency medicine preferred

Experience: Required: - Knowledge of general nursing principles and practice skills; knowledge of organizational functions, policies and regulations; knowledge of current trends and new developments; knowledge of principles and practices of nursing, applicable to those areas requiring special education.

Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee - Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the state of Tennessee - National certification in a specialty (such as ACNP, ANP, CCNS, FNP) - Certificate of fitness from the state of Tennessee (as required by specialty) - BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward
