Join a high-volume apartment community in Lanham, MD where your maintenance skills will directly impact resident satisfaction and property performance. This is a great opportunity for you if you enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, and being part of a fast-paced team.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the property, completing service requests, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Pay Range: $ 20.00 to $ 25.00/hr.

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (60-minute lunch)

On-Call & Emergency Response Required

What You’ll Do

Complete service requests including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
Perform unit turns including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs to prepare apartments for new residents
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections of building systems
Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance requests as needed
Maintain grounds, common areas, and overall property appearance
Work with vendors and assist with larger maintenance projects as needed

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
3+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician
Computer proficiency is a plus

What You Bring

1+ year of maintenance experience in residential, apartment, or related field
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
EPA/HVAC certification is a plus
Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to participate in on-call rotation
Ability to safely handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving equipment
Personal cell phone required for communication and on-call responsibilities
