Local Class B CDL driver

Converse All Steel Services Inc.

Job Description

The Local Class B CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles on local routes while ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. This independent driver manages route navigation, load handling, and vehicle inspections to deliver goods efficiently within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely on local routes
Navigate designated routes efficiently
Ensure compliance with safety and traffic laws
Manage and secure cargo loads properly
Perform regular vehicle inspections prior to and after trips
Complete and maintain accurate driving and delivery documentation
Help with putting orders together and staging loads.

Required Qualifications

Entry-level experience in commercial driving
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with commercial driving and vehicle inspection
Route planning and geographic knowledge
